Wondering how sattvic your daily PB&J sandwich is? Looking to delve a little deeper into balanced, ayurvedic eating? Learn the practical applications of a balanced, sattvic diet with Lance Hoagland as he sheds light on eating well with the Sattvic Nutrition Workshop. This series of three classes will show you how to integrate ayurvedic science into your life and diet. Lance, a yoga teacher for over 10 years and an AFAA personal training instructor, will dole out practical advice and healthy eating tips supported by the latest nutritional research while incorporating the ancient art of ayurveda and eating for your personal dosha. Each class, we will explore the nutritional messages we’re bombarded with daily through advertising, and learn of the dramatic effects of processed foods on the body. We’ll also sample tasty fare whipped up by Lance himself as a testament that a saatvic diet can be easy and delicious!

Lance Hoagland has been an avid practitioner of Power & Vinyasa Yoga for over 20 years. Creating focus and intention in his classes, Lance believes meditation is not separate but an important part of the flow. Having spent 4 months practicing Astanga yoga in India, he understands the roots and origins of an authentic practice. Focusing on breath work, his classes are vigorous, fun, and combines the traditional with a modern mix of poses and sequences. Lance is a certified yoga teacher and certified AFAA personal training instructor and was lead yoga instructor at the Canyon Ranch SpaClub in Las Vegas before moving to Chicago in 2009. Lance has taught in Seattle, New York and Costa Rica. Lance is currently a student at the Institute of Intergrative Nutrition.
