Teaching Vinyasa Flow Yoga can be a creative and effective way to take your students on a transformational journey uniting mind, body and Spirit.  As well as being physically challenging, this dynamic practice is an inspirational and effective way to open students to the beauty and potential of their own Spiritual purpose.

In this special teacher’s training, learn the fundamental principals of Vinyasa Flow Yoga (linking movement with breath) and how to teach this popular form of yoga in a responsible, creative and heart-centered way.  This training explores the three realms of consciousness-physical/mental, energetic/emotional and psychic/symbolic- and how to utilize these principles in your personal practice, as well as the classroom.  Understanding these three ‘realms’ can ultimately enrich our practice, provide depth and awareness, and offer an uplifting and inspirational environment for healing and inner-investigation.  Applying these tools to a classroom can help us to: teach asana more clearly and intelligently, maintain an organized and well-paced Vinyasa sequence, use Spiritual themes to facilitate an environment for insight, as well as, guide our students to reach beyond the body and into the heart through intention, reflection and prayer.

-  In the physical/mental realm, we will focus on the principals of alignment, Vinyasa pacing, proper sequencing and adjustments.
-  In the energetic/emotional realm, we will explore the chakras (energy centers) and their role in soul investigation and body awareness, how to read bodies, how to theme a class and speak from your authentic voice.
-  In the psychic/symbolic realm, we will look at the mystical journey, our roles as guides, Spirit renewal, developing intuition, and holding a safe and sacred space effectively.

This training is designed for teacher’s who are open in the journey of yoga beyond the body.  It is a workshop that combines fact with faith and offers a unique and soulful approach to deepening both the individual practice, as well as, classroom experience.

Join Seane for this special weekend workshop where we will explore beyond our bodies, our relationship with the divine. Transformation begins when we understand there is no separation between the mind, body and spirit - appreciating the inter-dependency of all moments, great and small, light and dark as whole and sacred. The chakra system provides us a roadmap that affirms this perception and presents a formula to make it tangible. Understanding the chakras and recognizing them as a bridge between the physical and metaphysical bodies can provide us energetic and intellectual tools for healing. Using the chakra system correctly, we can identity, reconcile and heal restrictive emotional patterns and physical imbalances in our mind/body. In this class, we will use the tools of asana, meditation, reflection, intention and prayer to facilitate this inquiry and to understand the dynamics of the charkas so as to empower our health and life.

The study of the chakras can help us develop our intuition, awareness and consciousness (Mind). It can balance us physically, plus ground and center our energy (Body). It can also increase our personal power and relationship to the Sacred, seeing our lives symbolically. This in turn gives a more compassionate understanding towards our personal issues and can reveal mystical insight into our Dharma (Spirit).
