
Gabriel Halpern holds a BA in Philosophy, an MA in Health Psychology, and is a full-time, certified instructor trained at the Iyengar Yoga Institutes in San Francisco and Pune, India. An accomplished vegetarian chef and practitioner of kitchen sink mysticism, he loves cooking for family and friends, but prefers to have help, or company, during his culinary feats of daring do. Gabriel has practiced since 1970 and gives workshops nationally. For the past eighteen years he has been a core faculty member at De Paul University’s Theater Department. The fuel that motivates his vision for the immediate future is to re-invent himself as mentor and ritual elder.
