Our life becomes harmonious when there is a feeling of connection and peace in our relationships. Indeed, all of life is nothing more than the building of our relationship with our own Self, with the people that we surround ourselves with, and with the context in which we are placed – our homes, our cities, and our earth. Aadil will discuss how Yoga teaches us to bring harmony and fulfillment into these areas of our lives. Understanding the philosophy of Purna Yoga is essential to building and maintaining these three critical relationships.
Alignment creates flow. Flow creates freedom. Learning how to align the different parts of our bodies in asana, while sitting, while standing, and while walking re-patterns the energy flow so that your body will feel more alive and function more efficiently. Everything works better with alignment – your thinking improves, the stress in your body dissolves, the pain disappears….
Aadil personally studied, for over thirty years, with the greatest alignment master in history, B.K.S. Iyengar. Adding his own in-depth research to that education, yoga teachers consider Aadil to be one of the most educated alignment-based teachers today. This information, invaluable as it is, will be shared by Aadil with all of you in this unique two-day intensive.

In old, traditional yoga teachings, students were not allowed to practice asana or pranayama when they began their yogic quest. The great masters wisely believed that until aspirants had applied the yamas and niyamas to their lives, they were not ready handle the powerful nature of asana and pranayama. Yama and niyama are the foundations of all yoga practice. Aadil will teach the yama and niyama from a new and deeper perspective so that the following practice of asana and pranayama is more meaningful.
