We will kick off the weekend with cultivating sisterhood and safe space through ceremony and ritual. As women, we are innately born with the greatest tool for creation and manifestation: the womb. As we learn to connect with the part of our womanhood that allows us to co-author our realities, our individual life’s purpose and collective consciousness will be awakened. This sacred space is the birthplace of our healing, our creativity, and our power. Manifesting 101 begins in the womb.
"The womb is a woman’s feminine core, the generator of tremendous creative potential, vitality, boundless well-being, sensual power, and manifestation. It not only births children but also the fullness of feminine spiritual potential, personal healing, and the depths of relating for which we all yearn.
The way of the womb is for the woman who wants to be totally empowered as a women, manifesting her soul mission, and being able to have intimate, fulfilling sacred relationships, actively participating and enegaging fully in the spontaneous joy and wave of life. It is for that woman who wishes to fully claim her authentic self as a live and flowing experiecne, and live her womanhood toally, without reservation of hesitation, without having to compromise. It is for that woman who wishes to have an open, fulfilling sexual life, and who wishes to use this energy to dynamically fuel her evolution, health, and lifestyle.” Womb Wisdom, Prakasha
Dr. Brene Brown’s extensive research over many years led her to the definition of wholehearted living in her book, The Gifts of Imperfection. Wholehearted living is about engaging in our lives from a place of worthiness. It means cultivating the courage, compassion, and connection to wake up in the morning and think, “No matter what gets done and how much is left undone I am enough.” In her work, she defined 10 guideposts to encourage ways to cultivate wholeheartedness and identify what we need to release in the process. This session guides us through ways to integrate that philosophy into our lives.
bell hooks says, “When we can see ourselves as we truly are and accept ourselves, we build the necessary foundation for self-love.” In moving from a state of self-consciousness to a state of Self Consciousness, we show up differently: clear and confident in who we are and what we request. Receive one on one coaching with Danielle and Karlene as you close the gap between what’s ideal and what’s real. What words do you say after, “I am"?
Gratitude is like placing your order to the universe: affirming exactly what you like and exactly what you’d like more of. Without acknowledging the abundance in your life, a desire for more can be driven by a sense of scarcity. The belief that you are enough and have enough is the predecessor of receiving more. In this session, we will address scarcity mentality and learn how to “snapshot” as a means to release what holds us back and open up to receive more.
When he haven’t truly mastered forgiveness, our ability to manifest becomes limited. In addressing scarcity mentality, we are able to let go, release, and make room for more. The process to doing so is a thoroughly-designed program created by Danielle in her own journey to and through the greatest gift: forgiveness. In this session, she will share and teach the secret sauce that set her free. As Robin Casarjian wisely says, “forgiveness is a way of life that gradually transforms us from being helpless victims of our circumstances to being powerful and loving ’co-creators’ of our reality.”
"Love is, in fact an intensification of life, a completeness, a fullness, a wholeness of life ... Life curves upward to a peak of intensity, a high point of value and meaning, at which all its latent creative possibility go into action and the person transcends herself in encounter, response, and communion with another. It is for this that we came into the world -- this communion and self-transcendence. We do not become fully human until we give ourselves to each other in love.” Love and Need, Thomas Merton
This session will reveal some of Love’s powers and teach us how to access the endless well of Love that leads us to the aforementioned experience outlined by Thomas Merton. Love is always a choice. What do you choose?
Often times, we want to skip straight to the “how” without even understanding the “why” or the “what.” There is a space in every breath where everything becomes suspended; it’s the space between the inhale and exhale. This space is where all the magic happens. It’s where clarity arises. Peace overtakes one’s soul. Love is ever present. Healing is abundant here. The breath is a magic-super-power that, when used correctly, can open channels where we can listen in to the whispers of God and Her plans for us when we were just an idea in Her heart.
It is so important to understand what we want and why. This session will carry us through a series of exercises to unearth our hearts true desires with crystal clear focus. Become aligned and connected to your divine purpose and your reason for existence through an intentionally designed yoga and meditation sequence. We’ll follow the short sequence with guided prompts lead by wordsmith and clarity extraordinaire, Karlene Graham. She’ll teach how to properly sow seeds of manifestation and what do to do as we anticipate their bloom.
By now, you’ll know the “why” and the “what". Now let’s map out “who", “when", “where", and “how” for 2018. Our Bullet Journal session will guide you through the process of mapping out goals and dreams with tangible steps to bringing them to life. This is the work of nurturing the seeds that we have sown over the course of this event. You will leave with your own personalized map of how to cultivate and manifest the life you so very much desire and deserve. This is commencement: both graduation and inauguration.
A California-native, but nomad at heart, Danielle made her way to Chicago where she vigorously pursued self-discovery and self-development. From the time Danielle was first introduced to yoga, it was a medicine for both her body and her heart. As a result of her own journey, Love and Healing are the forces that deeply guide Danielle and it becomes evident in her teaching. Each class incorporates functional breath work, intention setting, heart-full devotion, and positive affirmations.
Danielle completed her 200 hour Teacher Training with Moksha Yoga Center, under the guise of Daren Friesen. The teachers who have been most influential in Danielle’s teaching style are Aadil Palkhivala and Catherine Ashton, and she is deliberate about incorporating their philosophy into each class. She leads alignment-based classes that honor students by allowing them safe space to become curious about their own bodies, their own thoughts, and their own experiences. In teaching Hatha Yoga, Danielle guides her students into the deepest parts of their fascia and their feelings, where healing can be ignited.
Above all else, Danielle is a community builder who is intentional about creating safe space for her students to love, heal, and breathe.
