Sister Moon is the closest Astronomical body to planet Earth. She has a huge influence on us, and we are closely connected to her Energy. She travels through her Mystical cycle every 28 days, going from new to full, from darkness to light, from new beginnings to harvesting and letting go.
The time of the Full Moon is a magical time. After sewing our seeds of intent during the New Moon, and tending to those seeds during Sister Moon’s Waxing time, we reach a climax in the days of her fullness. Those days are a time of reflection, when we look upon what we have successfully achieved and then celebrate that; and upon what is standing in our way and then choose to let that go.
This November’s Full Moon in the sign of Taurus, is the perfect time to shed places of deep insecurity and self-doubt. Taurus’ energy of safety can help us find our way to a deep confidence in ourselves and in the particular way our life is currently unfolding. We can use this energy to come to a place of remembering that we are always held by Creator and our Guides, and that as long as we are true to our Soul’s yearnings, everything that happens to us is for our highest good. That can be really tricky, especially if you’re wanting things to go differently than they are.
The particular flavor of this Taurus’ Full Moon is one of compassion and understanding. What a gift! We get to turn our Compassion towards ourselves to help us feel more sure of ourselves and of our choices. Such a blessing! Because the firmer the ground we are standing on, the easier it is for us to spread our wings and fly.
The ceremony is a mix of yoga and Shamanic practices, is accessible for all levels of yoga and Shamanic practitioners (including no experience), and is designed to help you tap into this potent releasing energy that Sister Moon is blessing us with at this time.
As the Ceremony approaches, Talya will be sharing more information on her Facebook page “Shamanic Yoga with Talya Ring” (https://www.facebook.com/Shamanic-Yoga-with-Talya-Ring-1715924451756483/) about this particular Full Moon, and how you can best prepare for it, so that you can get the most out of this sacred time together.
Talya Ring’s ceremonies are a fertile arena for connecting to the Sacred and being uplifted. During these ceremonies, the veil between the Spirit World and our own becomes thin. Participants are guided on how to move between the worlds in order to gain the power and insights necessary to write the scripts for the lives they truly want. They emerge peaceful, hopeful and calm, with renewed confidence in themselves and in their life.
Talya has been teaching since 2004 and is an E-RYT 500 registered Yoga Alliance Instructor. She founded Shamanic Yoga, a practice which fuses yoga with indigenous ceremony, a powerful combination which brings about rapid life transformation in short periods of time. Talya has traveled the world extensively leading teacher trainings, workshops and retreats. She has spent the last 15 years studying and practicing with Medicine People from a variety of indigenous backgrounds including The Blackfoot People, The Cherokee People, and The Toltecs. Her Shamanic work is a unique fusion of her own deep Spiritual Practice in combination with all she has learned over the years. As with everything she does, she discards that which is outdated and clumsy, and melds together that which is relevant and effective into something pertinent and powerful. It is an inclusive practice which honors all backgrounds and religious beliefs.
Talya is also co-founder of Turbodog Yoga. She and her husband, Steve Emmerman, created this strength-building practice based on the latest scientific understanding of how muscles lengthen and open. It is an exciting and super effective approach and students enjoy meaningful and lasting results.
