Painful Behaviors - A Full Moon Shamanic Yoga Ceremony
On December 3rd, Grandmother Moon will be so close to Mother Earth that she will appear significantly larger to us, earning the title Super Moon. That means the effects of her Energy on us will be more intense than usual. On the same day December 3, Mercury goes retrograde, inviting us to unearth hidden truths and behavioral patterns that may be blocking us from moving forward and getting to where we want to go. All the celestial energies are encouraging us to continue to shed and release the past in order to clear room for the new energies of the coming year (can’t hardly wait ‘till we get to work with some lighter stuff). It is the perfect opportunity to target those behavioral patterns that were born in us long ago, and that we know are hurting us. Those behavioral patterns which we may sometimes feel powerless about, are now within our grasp, and the Universe is beckoning us to shift them. If you were at the New Moon Ceremony on November 18, you may choose to continue the work you started then, and devote this time to shedding behavioral patterns that were born from those Childhood Wounds we worked on. Otherwise, you can allow your intuition to direct you to which patterns are most pressing. I’ll be sharing more specific instructions on my Facebook page “ Shamanic Yoga with Talya Ring”. I hope you can join me on Sunday morning, December 3, for a special Full Moon Shamanic Yoga Ceremony. The Ceremony is a mix of yoga and Shamanic practices, is accessible for all levels of yoga and Shamanic practitioners (including no experience), and is designed to help you tap into this potent Releasing Energy that Grandmother Moon is blessing us with at this time. The Ceremony will be from 9-10am at Moksha Yoga Center in West Bucktown, 2528 W Armitage, just west of Western & Milwaukee. Punch in *2500 in the security box to enter the building. I look forward to spending this sacred time together.?

Talya Ring’s ceremonies are a fertile arena for connecting to the Sacred and being uplifted. During these ceremonies, the veil between the Spirit World and our own becomes thin. Participants are guided on how to move between the worlds in order to gain the power and insights necessary to write the scripts for the lives they truly want. They emerge peaceful, hopeful and calm, with renewed confidence in themselves and in their life.
Talya has been teaching since 2004 and is an E-RYT 500 registered Yoga Alliance Instructor. She founded Shamanic Yoga, a practice which fuses yoga with indigenous ceremony, a powerful combination which brings about rapid life transformation in short periods of time. Talya has traveled the world extensively leading teacher trainings, workshops and retreats. She has spent the last 15 years studying and practicing with Medicine People from a variety of indigenous backgrounds including The Blackfoot People, The Cherokee People, and The Toltecs. Her Shamanic work is a unique fusion of her own deep Spiritual Practice in combination with all she has learned over the years. As with everything she does, she discards that which is outdated and clumsy, and melds together that which is relevant and effective into something pertinent and powerful. It is an inclusive practice which honors all backgrounds and religious beliefs.
Talya is also co-founder of Turbodog Yoga. She and her husband, Steve Emmerman, created this strength-building practice based on the latest scientific understanding of how muscles lengthen and open. It is an exciting and super effective approach and students enjoy meaningful and lasting results.
