Celebrate the Fall harvest and share the abundance with a special vinyasa class benefiting Growing Home, a local non-profit using organic urban farming to strengthen communities on Chicago’s South Side. Growing Home uses farming as a unique and powerful vehicle to teach hard, transferable job skills, while also providing a therapeutic experience to individuals who are looking for personal growth and connection. Since 2006, Growing Home has worked on the city’s south side in Englewood, a community where nearly half of residents live below the poverty line, one in five residents are unemployed and many have limited access to fresh, healthy food.
