1.5 hours of flow, 1.5 hours of restorative
In the wake of your holiday indulgence, unroll your mat and let go of your turkey (or tofurkey) stuffing with a 1.5-hour dynamic yoga flow with Ingrid, followed with a 1 hour restorative and meditation practice. We will start with a powerful and fluid vinyasa flow to stimulate the circulatory and lymphatic systems and help clear out toxins. You will learn sequences to twist and liberate the core, freeing the body with spaciousness and ease.  Yoga and breathing techniques will help you firm up, reset the metabolism, and cleanse the inner body. We will end with a restorative and meditation practice to activate your parasympathetic nervous system, to help you digest through the purified body and relax away holiday stress, preparing yourself for the new year.  Winter won't be over yet, so this practice will restore balance to your immune system and leave you feeling worked out, refreshed, and relaxed.

Ingrid embarked upon her yoga journey in 1999 in New York City after multiple injuries from long distance running. She soon discovered that the healing powers of yoga extend beyond the asana practice and now finds the balance of running and yoga to be her most therapeutic expression of energy and movement. With over a decade of yoga teaching experience, Ingrid has lead workshops and teacher trainings all over world. She holds certifications from the styles of Sivananda, Jivamukti and OM yoga.

As well as teaching yoga, Ingrid is currently a medical student at Rush University School of Medicine. In her past lives, she has been an intellectual property attorney, venture capitalist, business consultant, jazz lounge singer in Australia, and founder and owner of Blue Point Yoga Center in Durham, NC.

Ingrid's classes are upbeat and energetic, incorporating a vigorous vinyasa flow with dharma teaching and a strong understanding of anatomy and human physiology. She also teaches meditation, runner¹s yoga, yoga for cancer therapy and yin yoga workshops and leads teacher trainings. Ingrid has personally witnessed the healing powers of yoga in herself and her students, and considers herself lucky to share the gift of yoga with others.
