Evelyn Rodriguez began practicing yoga in 2006 looking for a complement to her training as a marathon runner. After a few years of practice she realized that yoga wasn't only physical. To deepen her knowledge in yoga she left her corporate job in imports in 2012 and moved to Chicago to take the yoga teacher training at Moksha Yoga Center.
In 2013 she studied in Mexico at Yoga Yoghismo Association and taught yoga in Spanish. In 2014 she came back to Chicago where she is currently teaching bilingual classes at Moksha Yoga Center and continues to deepen her knowledge of yoga through her dedicated daily Asthanga practice and studying with Todd Boman.
She teaches a variety of styles of yoga and adapts her classes based on the needs of her students with special attention to breathing and alignment focusing on the mind-body connection.
Evelyn collaborates with Univision, Alas Wings (Latina Association for Breast Cancer) and Northwestern University.
