In this workshop, we will explore the connection between yoga, meditation, and breathwork. Yoga, with its combinations of poses and breathwork, promotes harmony within the body and mind. Meditation, on the other hand, can offer a path to stillness and introspection, encouraging you to observe your thoughts and emotions without judgment. Together, these practices can help you nurture not only a deeper understanding of yourself but allow you to discover a more authentic and present state of being.
Join us and learn how you can use these practices in your day to day life. During this 2 hour experience, you can expect:
- Asana practice focused on gentle and restorative poses to promote relaxation and stillness
- Discussion and practice of classical mediation that will help you learn new skills and give you the opportunity to practice these skills
- Pranayama exercises to aid in calming the nervous system and nourishing the mind
Rachel is a teacher at Moksha and strongly believes in the transformative power of yoga. Her aim is not only to create a welcoming environment but also to create a space where students can cultivate a deeper understanding of their own mind and body. Integrating physical alignment with mindfulness practices and breathwork, Rachel’s aim is to provide students with tools that they can take off the mat and into their everyday lives.
