Meet Bianca, an RYT 200 yoga teacher and the proud owner of Mocana Yoga – a South African yoga brand that creates eco-conscious, high quality yoga mats and props. Her yoga journey originated right here in the vibrant city of Chicago, sparked by pure curiosity that led her to delve into the transformative world of yoga. In 2016, Bianca seized the opportunity to travel abroad to South Africa, where she expanded her understanding of yoga practices against the backdrop of its breathtaking landscapes. This journey laid the foundation for her continued exploration of the profound depths of yoga.

Subsequently, she planted herself in Taiwan, where she underwent her initial 200-hour training in Hatha/Ashtanga in Taipei, under the guidance of Karuna Seeds and the Sivananda Yoga Center. Immersing herself in the rich tapestry of the yoga community, she embraced meditation and cultivated a dedicated self-practice in Ashtanga Yoga.

Through the physicality of yoga, Bianca began to uncover and confront the intricacies of her internal landscape. Her teaching philosophy mirrors this personal journey, incorporating the wisdom gained through breathwork, meditation, and intentional movement into all her classes. Yoga has been a transformative force in Bianca’s life, an ongoing journey that continues to shape her path each day. She expresses deep gratitude for the opportunity to share these empowering practices and is thrilled to be a part of the Moksha community.
